“Develop and engage in the collaborative and social aspects of writing processes”
Throughout the entirety of the semester, we were always pushed and encouraged to socialize and collaborate with our peers on our work. We would come together in groups to discuss the current project or ideas that were being taught to us. As well as in face-to-face class, we are encouraged to participate in class and have our opinions and ideas vocal for others to perceive and critique. One of the main examples of this would be our presentations in which each group would present their project in front of the class, such as the engineering proposal. At the end of the presentation, each person/group is encouraged to give their own opinions and critiques about what was just presented. Allowing for our peers to give feedback in real time. Another example would be the discussion boards of blackboard on which we would post the starting ideas or topics of the assignments as well as a brief outline. Then our peers would give their opinions and ways to improve them before carrying on to the writing stage.
