“Engage in genre analysis and multimodal composing to explore effective writing across disciplinary contexts and beyond”

When starting the semester genre analysis was a new technique that was taught to me. We would look at past students’ work to get a grasp of how to write a certain assignment. Analyzing where the student did well and where they could make improvements on the work. This helped us better understand how to apply the different genres that we handle in class. These works would also be able to be used as references in order to make sure that we are including crucial aspects.
