“Acknowledge your and others’ range of linguistic differences as resources, and draw on those resources to develop rhetorical sensibility”
From the first day of class we are encouraged to work with others to better help ourselves. And soon through the semester we were put into designated groups with peers whose majors aligned with ours. Through this we were able to share many viewpoints and ideas on assignments and projects. One of the most major examples of teamwork would be the engineering proposal project. This was a multimodal project in which the team decides on a specific topic relating to sustainability and natural disaster. For a single person, the project in its entirety is a very large feat to tackle, but by working with your peers and splitting work it is more manageable. It is not just the workload that improves, but also the quality of the work, being able to fully collaborate and share ideas.
