“Practice using various library resources, online databases, and the Internet to locate sources appropriate to your writing projects”

Using the internet and books to cite for assignments was something I’ve known about and been using since high school. But in writing for engineers we are taught to use official databases and how to access the CUNY online library. We were taught this by Professor Reid in which she explained how to access these resources and how to properly search through them. I was also taught how to properly cite in APA format from both academic papers and websites. We utilized these skills in assignments such as analyzing a lab report of our choosing that was found from either the CUNY database or Google Scholar.
